Terms of Service

Digital Ministries LLC is a for-profit limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Connecticut, USA. We are not a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and we do not offer tax-deductible charitable receipts. Some of our tools are offered free of charge to the global Church; others are paid products or supported through voluntary patronage.

Your use of the Services constitutes your acceptance of these Terms and our then-current policies referenced here. We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Services after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Our supporter / "pay-what-you-want" payments are voluntary patronage, not charitable donations. Patronage payments are made to a for-profit company and are not tax-deductible. No specific goods, services, deliverables, or outcomes are guaranteed in exchange for patronage.

For paid products, prices, features, and availability are as described at the time of purchase. All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Recurring (monthly or annual) payments will automatically renew at the stated interval until cancelled. You may cancel a recurring payment at any time by contacting support@digitalministries.ai or, where available, through your account portal. Cancellation stops future charges; amounts already paid are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

You are responsible for any taxes (other than taxes on our net income) associated with your purchases.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to make a payment or create an account. By using the Services you represent that you meet these requirements and that you have authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or any organization you represent.

You agree not to:

• Use the Services to violate any law, infringe any right, or harm any person;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from our Services;
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data except via interfaces we expressly provide;
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit free tools beyond their intended use;
• Upload malware, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or disrupt the Services;
• Misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or the source of any content you submit.

We may suspend or terminate access for any violation, with or without notice.

The Services, including all software, text, images, audio, video, design, brand elements, and trademarks, are owned by or licensed to Digital Ministries LLC and are protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for their intended purpose. All other rights are reserved.

If you submit content to us — inquiries, comments, testimonials, prayer requests, feedback, or other materials ("User Content") — you grant Digital Ministries LLC a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, display, and distribute that User Content in connection with operating and promoting the Services. You represent that you have the rights necessary to grant this license. We may, but are not obligated to, remove or refuse any User Content at our discretion.

The Services rely on third-party providers including Stripe (payments), Supabase / Lovable Cloud (hosting, database, edge functions), email infrastructure providers, and analytics tools. Your use of those providers is subject to their own terms. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices.

Our Services include AI-powered features such as the Ministry Advisor. AI outputs are generated by statistical models and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your situation. AI outputs are informational only and do not constitute theological, pastoral, legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice. You are responsible for evaluating outputs before relying on them.

Tools we offer free of charge are provided as a gift to the broader Church and are provided "as is" and "as available," without any service-level commitment. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any free tool at any time.

The services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and any warranties arising out of course of dealing or usage of trade.

We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or meet your requirements.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Digital Ministries LLC and its officers, members, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of the services.

Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the services or these terms will not exceed the greater of (a) one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100) or (b) the total amounts you paid to us in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages; in those jurisdictions, the limitations above apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Digital Ministries LLC and its officers, members, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to (a) your use or misuse of the Services, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including payments owed, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive.

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them or the Services are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Connecticut for any dispute that is not subject to an alternative resolution provision, and you waive any objection to such jurisdiction or venue.

We may modify these Terms at any time by posting a revised version with an updated "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated where practicable. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes acceptance of the changes.
